San Pedro has a large sweeping white sandy beach which is home to local fishermen and the local diving school (situated inside the Foya Branca Resort at the other end of the beach).
There are two hotels close to the plot. One is Aquiles Eco Hotel (approx 100m away) and the other is the Foya Branca Resort (800m away on the other end of the beach).
San Pedro is seeing increasing tourism enter the area as a result of the hotels and as a result of more apartment blocks being developed in the village.
The international airport is 3 minutes drive away and planes can be seen from the plot. There is noise from the planes as they desend to land but much of the noise is countered by the sound of the waves and the wind.
San Pedro is 10 minutes’ drive from the capital of Mindelo and there is regular transport to and from the city.
